TransCanada PipeLines Limited – NCC (Peerless Lake Section) Phase 2 Pipeline Project
Midwest completed the project in March 2005.  The project included the installation of 39 km of NPS 24 natural gas pipeline near Wabasca, AB.  The project successfully implemented the Advanced Integrity Validation (AIV) process, thus eliminating the requirement for hydrostatic testing of the pipeline.  The industry leading process was validated by hydrostatically testing one section to confirm the quality assurance of the pipeline integrity.  All tie-in welds were completed utilizing the Midwest Autoweld equipment for the fill and cap passes.
